Shark Loves the Amazon screening at the World Sustainability Forum
Shark Loves the Amazon will be screened at the World Sustainability Forum in Manaus, Brazil (site in Portuguese), which runs from March 22 to March 24.
Participants at the forum will include Shark Loves the Amazon writer/producer Mark London and interviewees Virgilio Viana and Eduardo Braga.
In past years, speakers at the forum have included Bill Clinton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Richard Branson.
Film Updates: “Crossing” and Shark Loves the Amazon
“Crossing” is now an official selection of the Atlanta Film Festival! More details about the festival’s shorts program should be available soon.
I also want to mention that writer/producer Mark London has been showing Shark Loves the Amazon in private screenings around the country, including events at Rhodes College in Tennessee, Pitzer College in California, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. ODESSA and GIRL CLOWN
I’m pleased to announce that I will be scoring two new short films: ODESSA, a science fiction drama from writer/director Cidney Hue, and GIRL CLOWN, a whimsical, warm-hearted comedy from writer/producer/actor Crystal Scott and director Beth Spitalny! CROSSING Selected as Short Cuts Finalist
UPDATE (11/16/11): Gina Atwater has won the Best Director award at the Short Cuts festival. Congratulations!
CROSSING has been selected as a finalist in the annual NBC-Universal Short Cuts Film Festival! Congratulations to director Gina Atwater and the entire CROSSING cast and crew.
All of the finalist films will be shown on Wednesday, October 26th, 7:30 PM, at the Director’s Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles.
